Made from selected grapes, it is fermented at a controlled temperature of between 25 and 28º C., with a maceration with the skins for around ten days, so that they give it a good tannic structure. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is transferred to American oak barrels where it remains for a year. After this time the wine is bottled and aged in the bottle.
Bright ruby red colour, with a coppery rim. Intense and complex aromas of mocha, cassis, plum and a background of cigar box. Round and intense on the palate, with good structure and velvety tannins. Flavours of black fruit and mocha, followed by a toasty aftertaste.
Pairs well with grilled meat or an assortment of cheeses.
Optimal serving temperature: 16-18ºC.
We recommend decanting or uncorking this wine one hour before drinking.
